Ausangate’s 7 Lagoons

This exploration is named after one of the highest mountains in the city of Cusco, which is Ausangate. The name would have the meaning of “the creator of waters” since it feeds several rivers, including the Willcamayu. Several lagoons arise at the foot of Ausangate, hence the name of the 7 lagoons of Ausangate, some with turquoise, green, chocolate and blue colors. For the residents of Pacchanta the lagoons or qochas are very sacred since they obtain this liquid element from them. vital that is the water that is very important to them. Connecting with nature and appreciating its beauty from the Ausangate mountain with its people and its lagoons, is a very deep exploration that everyone should do at some point in their life.
