Humantay Lake
The charming Humantay lagoon with turquoise waters, 123km north of the city of Cusco. Previous years, only those who did the Salkantay route of 4 days and 3 nights included their visit to this lagoon on their first day of trekking, over time the photos of many travelers made the Laguna possible to visit it in 1 day, its color captivated many visitors and the tranquility that is breathed in the place. The snow-capped mountain that has the name of Humantay is the one that gives life to this Humantay lagoon, which is where its name comes from, and it is accompanied by another imposing snow-capped mountain that is the Salkantay (which means Wild).
